»»隨著歐美國家開始放起聖誕長假,許多博物館展覽大翻新,不但在紐約就有兩家博物館供正在放假的學生提升知識,更有明年巴黎博物館陸續推出時尚相關展覽,吸引更多旅客認識時尚的奧妙。而Diane von Furstenberg與Louis Vuitton則選擇推出書籍,讓消費者更了解品牌歷史。除此,品牌如Jimmy Choo、& Other Stories與Jason Wu也紛紛為新的一年做準備,推出新品與新副牌,來個開春人氣大挑戰。

♦為迎接2013年,Jimmy Choo推出品牌第二款香氛「Flash」,希望每位趕場春季宴會的女性們都能閃亮登場。「這款香水代表著女性們特有的特質。」品牌創意總監Simon Holloway表示。「這是一款宴會香水,幫助提升每一位女性的自信心,並把她們外向與多才多藝的一面詮釋出來。」此款香水將在明年3月於歐洲發布,售價38至75美元(約1,100至2,180台幣)。
Jimmy Choo has unveiled their second fragrance, “Flash” for the spring of 2013. “Jimmy Choo is a brand which was born in shoes and grew up on the red carpet,” said Simon Holloway, who is a creative director for the company along with Sandra Choi. “This fragrance plays naturally to that concept.” The range is from $38 to $75 .

♦Jason Wu為了推廣與美國中價位百貨Nordstrom新合作的年輕副牌Miss Wu,請來時尚攝影師Todd Cole掌鏡最新廣告,並邀請加拿大王子系模特兒Meghan Collison演繹活潑好動的Miss Wu,展現青春無敵的魅力。預告影片中,Meghan Collison運用肢體動作完美詮釋Miss Wu的品牌定位:「整晚Party卻還能繼續保持好精神的活潑少女;雖然少了幾分高雅成熟但多了可愛元素。」Miss Wu將會於明年1月在Nordstrom獨家販售一年,售價195至795美元。(約5,660至23,100台幣)
As Jason Wu’s new line, Miss Wu is releasing next January with Nordstrom, the image of Miss Wu has been expressed through Meghan Collison: “The Miss Wu girl is, on the other hand, she’s a little more worn in, a little grittier, her hair is a little messier, her makeup might be from the night before.” (Stated by Jason Wu). The entire collection will be range from 195 to 795 USD and available in Nordstrom only.

♦在巴黎的朋友有福了!巴黎流行與服飾博物館(Musée Galliera)與La Gaîté Lyrique博物館將於2013年2月陸續推出「Model — the body of fashion」(Mannequin — le corps de la mode)與「Arrrgh! Monsters of Fashion」(Arrrgh! Monstres de Mode)兩項展覽。「Model — the body of fashion」以模特兒為主題,將展示自19世紀至今「模特兒」在社會上的專業角色變換,而「Arrrgh! Monsters of Fashion」則將展出55位藝術家和設計師共80套服裝與藝術裝置的作品。
Attention readers from Paris! 2013 is the year of fashion exhibit! For both Musée Galliera and La Gaîté Lyrique are holding exhibit “Model — the body of fashion” and “Arrrgh! Monsters of Fashion”, which will be in exhibition from February 2013 to April and May 2013.

♦<Teen Vogue>整理出紐約Museum of Fashion Institute of Technology(簡稱FIT)的「科技與時尚」展與Museum of Art and Design的「香水藝術」展等有趣展覽,讓讀者趁假期好好增廣見聞,不但可以一睹Diane von Furstenberg時尚與Google Glass合作系列風采,更可以見識到前<Times>雜誌香水專欄作家Chandler Burr的香水收藏,從Chanel No.5至Guerlain Jicky,應有盡有。在FIT舉辦的「科技與時尚」展覽將會一路展到明年5月,而Museum of Art and Design的「香水藝術」展則是到明年2月24日為止。

Both exhibitions are now available while the first one last till May 2013, and the other last till February 24, 2013.

♦聖誕節結束後,正愁不知該上哪繼續血拚嗎?美國平價百貨Macy’s看準聖誕後商機,推出「Macy Week of Wonderful」活動,主打商品折扣與大量新品推出,於12月26日至1月1日截止。而為了讓大眾不錯過此次機會,Macy更特別請來「Glee」、「So You Think You Can Dance」與「Hairspray」的導演兼舞蹈編排Adam Shankman主演電視廣告,畫面豐富又吸睛。
Macy’s is going for the post-Christmas sales! While the department store has devised an aggressive campaign starring Adam Shankman, the director and choreographer of “Glee”, “So You Think You Can Dance”, and “Hairspray”, “The Week of Wonderland” will be launched nationally the day after Christmas and conclude on New Year’s Day.
